Job Description

Primary requirement for this position is to grow ASIC/chip design & Embedded engineering services business with large ($5B+)
 Semiconductor clients
 Enterprise system & consumer device clients
 Cloud and software clients
 The candidate should have direct and first-hand experience working in semiconductor design engg. services, IP, EDA, foundry ecosystem in sales & business development capacity along with comfort in selling embedded and digital engineering services.
 Direct experience and good understanding of sales process from prospecting to close and experience collaborating with internal and client remote (offsite) engineering / technical teams is very important.
Quota driven sales experience in ASIC/semi industry is required.
 Hunt/prospect/call on large ($5B+) semiconductor & device / system clients leading with ASIC / Silicon engineering services; Sell Embedded / Software / Digital services in semiconductor companies
 Revenue and business expansion in existing clients with design centers in western region outside bay area
 Conversant with ASIC/chip eco-system and able to leverage rolodex and relationships
 Run complete sales process for all opportunities including initial client communication, on-site presentations, proposal creation and submission, negotiation and deal signing.
 Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
 Achieve prospecting and other sales process goals designed to build an optimal sales pipeline.
 Personally develop strong, long-term relationships and referrals with VP & CXO level executives at targeted firms.
 8 to 12 years' experience with 5+ years in direct ASIC / Silicon, IP engineering services sales capacity to semiconductor and device / embedded system clients
 Experience of selling in system companies like Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper, Samsung, and AMD would be desirable.
 Demonstrable track record of achieving sales quota
 Able and willing to develop client base in new territory via aggressive prospecting
 Strong track record of establishing and cultivating business relationships with director and VP engineering management (client's side)
 Experience with working offshore services company operating in the high tech domain and cultural adaptability to work across the globe with engineering & marketing teams
 Good technical skills in VLSI/ASIC/Semi and engage the potential customer with "consultative selling" is essential.
 25% travel in US west coast territory
 B.E./B.S./B.Tech in VLSI or Electronics or Electrical  or Computer or Instrumentation Engineering.
 Graduate level degree in VLSI/tech/digital electronics (good to have)

Salary: USD 1,00,000 & above PA.
